How we use information

To prevent duplicate listings, protect city-specific data, detect spam, improve platform reliability and respond to user or business-owner requests.

To show relevant business information publicly when it is intended to be part of a listing, deal or advertisement.

Sharing and visibility

Public business information may appear on listing pages, category pages, city pages, area pages, deals and ads.

Private lead, owner, account, support and moderation details are used for platform operations and are not sold to advertisers.

When a customer intentionally sends an enquiry, relevant message/contact details may be shared with the business being contacted.

Business Listings, Public Sources, Claims and Safety

DekhoBiz is a local business discovery platform. We publish business information so visitors can find shops, service providers, professionals, offers and local services by city, area and category.

Listing details may come from business owners, user submissions, local references, public websites, public social profiles, open directories, search-visible pages, marketplace profiles, signage, visiting cards, or other information that appears to be available for public business discovery.

Public listing data may include business name, category, services, area, address, pincode, description, opening information, website, publicly shared contact details, photos, offers and other non-sensitive business information.

We try to review and format listings before or after publication, but business information can change. DekhoBiz does not guarantee that every listing is complete, verified, current, duplicate-free or error-free at all times.

Business owners and authorised representatives can claim a listing to correct details, add missing information, verify ownership, manage visibility, or request changes under DekhoBiz review rules.

If a listing is wrong, outdated, duplicated, misleading, unauthorised, or should not remain public, the business owner, authorised representative, or any user may contact DekhoBiz or use available claim/report options. We may update, hide, merge, mark, reject, or remove listings where appropriate.

Phone numbers, WhatsApp numbers, email addresses, websites and similar contact fields may be hidden, limited, removed, or displayed only after claim, owner submission, verification, or moderation where DekhoBiz considers that safer for users and businesses.

For account, claim, moderation, lead, support, security and analytics purposes, we may process operational data such as submission details, source pages, referral information, browser context, IP address, timestamps, and admin review activity.

Where paid registration, verification, wallet credits, deals, or advertising options are enabled, payments are used for processing, moderation, platform operations, or promotional visibility as described on the relevant payment or advertising page. Unless clearly stated otherwise, such charges do not guarantee leads, rankings, sales, calls, or business results.

Listings and advertisements are not endorsements. Users should verify important details directly with the business before visiting, ordering, booking, paying, or sharing sensitive information.

DekhoBiz is not responsible for independent transactions between users and listed businesses. Be careful with advance payments, UPI transfers, delivery deposits, remote-service requests, or payment links, and report suspicious or misleading listings promptly.

DekhoBiz may review claim, correction and removal requests to prevent fake ownership claims, spam, impersonation, fraud, harassment, unauthorised edits, or misuse of business information.

DekhoBiz may display ads, sponsored placements, internal promotions, or partner messages across the website to support platform operations. Sponsored visibility does not mean DekhoBiz verifies or recommends the advertiser beyond the applicable review process.

User choices and deletion

You may request correction, deletion, account support or listing support using the Help, Contact & Grievance page.

Business owners can manage available listing details, credits, referrals and communication preferences from the dashboard where available.

Some records may be retained where needed for fraud prevention, payment records, legal obligations, platform safety or dispute resolution.
